When all Israeli's receive the great God, "Messiah", in the ancient land of Edon, at the city named Petra and much more on this page. . .

What is the land of Edom called today?

Edom - Bible Odyssey

Edom was a kingdom based in the territory to the south and east of the Dead Sea, covering parts of modern day Israel and Jordan. Known for its mountainous terrain, it is also closely associated with the hill country of Seir in the Hebrew Bible ( Gen 32:3 ; Gen 36:8 )

Satan, to this very day, has with everything in his mighty power, continually attempted to destroy God's people, Israel.  The same thing applies to Christian's of today.  He wants to destroy all of us also!!

- If the reader's desire to have a part in the Lord's work as soul workers, it would be great for them to begin their own Christian tract ministry by downloading our messages and send or give copies to others. What could be more important for you as an ambassador for Christ than to support the Body of Christ in this way? Read {2- Corinthians 5:14-21}.  The messages are already written, so why not pass them on to others?

- It should be noted that practically all our Scriptures are taken from the "King James version" unless we paraphrase the text. We would also suggest that the Bible student begin his own web page which is free on the internet, and download many of our messages and add them to his own web page.

- It is possible that thousands of souls could be saved to Christ through your own personal ministry. Think of the blessings that would be bestowed upon you for helping someone to get to know the Lord, and all of these souls will be added to the body of Christ!  Read again {2- Corinthians 5:17-21} which is the commission for you!  We would hope that you will not make any changes in our messages because they have been thoroughly researched as to content! Also, we would like the reader to place a note on our "Prophecy Guest Book" and let us know if you like us paraphrasing the many verses of the Bible texts, and we will really appreciate your trouble in doing so.

- Another thing we should mention is that when we copy a verse from the Bible we will change much of the spelling from the archaic 16th century King James language which is often a little bewildering to some folks who are not use to that kind of speech, to the modern way of spelling. Such as . . .

- "Searcheth to 'searches,' . . . thy to 'your,' . . . standeth to 'stands,'. . . knoweth to 'knows,' ... maketh to 'make,' . . . nay to 'no,' . . . bringeth to 'bring,' . . . hath to 'has or have,' . . . saith to 'says,' . . . unto to 'to,' . . . doeth to 'does,' . . . wherefore to 'therefore,'. . . thee to 'you' . . . justifieth to 'justify,' . . . helpeth to 'help,' . . . liveth to 'lives,' . . . ever to 'always,'. . . lest to 'otherwise or perhaps,' . . . hitherto to 'even yet - or thus far,' . . . Behold 'take notice,' . . . heart to 'mind or intellect', . . . whereunto to 'the fact is or it was to this end that,' ... elect to 'chosen,' ... quickens to 'make alive,' ... Lo to 'take notice,' . . . sorer- to 'surer,' . . . saving- to 'except,' . . . Woe to 'grievous or distress to you,' etc. None of this will take away from the true meaning of the original text.

- {v. 14} Scripture: “And the Lord God said unto the serpent, because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:”

- {v. 15}: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed.  It shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."

- {v. 16 }: Unto the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception in sorrow you shall bring forth children and the desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you, {Genesis 3:14-16}."

- The above {v. 14-16 } paraphrased below in commentary form .

- {v. 14} Scripture: "And the Lord God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, you are cursed above all demestic animals, and above every wild living thing of the field, upon your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust and what it contains, all the days of your life".

[v.11 - 15]  -"And I,  JEHOVAH GOD, will put enmity between you,  Satan, you old serpent, and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring;  Hethe future Messiah, shall bruise your head under foot and you shall lie in wait and bruise his heel.

- {v. 16}: And unto the woman Eve, and all women after you,  He said, 'I WILL' greatly multiply your grief and your suffering in pregnancy and the pangs of child bearing, with spasms of distress, therefore future wise in sorrow you shall bring forth children and your desire shall always be to your husband, and he shall rule over you. {Genesis 3:15- 16}".

- Commentary ... There is more than one meaning to these verses. In typology the woman is also in reference to the "nation Israel in the female gender" as we find many times throughout the Scriptures.

-  The woman in the above verse in typology, also refers to Mary the mother of JESUS who is Eve's greater grandson in the flesh, and this in reference to JESUS' humanity. Plus all the Israelites are naturally greater descendants of our great grandmother Eve . . . as we all are!

- The words "Between your seed {V. 15} The spiritual descendants of Satan, read {John 8:44 & Ephesians 2:2} and her Israel seed those who are in the spiritual family of GOD". The word "IT" refers to an individual from the woman's seed, namely Christ Jesus who was and did seal a death blow to Satan's head at the Cross, while you the Devil will bruise Christ's heel causing Him to suffer as He did at His death.

- The above {V 16} Women were condemned to suffer in child bearing. At the same time, the wife would have a deep attraction to her husband, perhaps to compensate for the sorrow of childbirth, and "he the husband  shall rule over you."

- And again we believe we have a two-fold meaning in the words, "And he shall rule over you." This again, can be a reference to the future new nation of the 'Woman Israel during Messiah's Millennial reign. The 'He' referring in type to "Messiah, married to Israel,  as the woman's bridegroom {Revelation 19:7; - Isaiah 54:5-7; & Hosea 2:18-23}, and He: her husband,  her Lord, and King - ruling over her from His throne in Jerusalem.

- As to Adam, he became possessed of a fallen nature which in itself consists of spiritual death. The Devil has always hated people chosen of GOD. This refers to Christians today also. And, particularly to the Jewish people of whose seed CHRIST's humanity came. There has been warfare between Satan and the people of GOD for six thousand years. If Satan could destroy all the Jewish people, it would have meant that GOD's WORD was not true.

- In A.D. 70, General Titus of the Roman Empire besieged Jerusalem, and one million Jews perished with tens of thousands being taken captive. As a result, the Jews were scattered afar into all nations, but as all are aware, never has Satan had his way in destroying all of them.

- During World War Two, Hitler slew over 6,000,000 Jews in his death camps yet the Jews live on. But Satan is not through in attempting to destroy the Jews and thwart Bible prophecy which states that . . .

- MESSIAH, a Hebrew, who was once on this earth in the flesh will rule over the world, and the Israeli Hebrew nation will be the head of all nations. The Scriptures also point out over 950 times that Jerusalem belongs to the Jews.

- The Devil, working through Antichrist during the Tribulation Period, will destroy two-thirds of the Jews world-wide - read on . . .

- {v. 8} Scripture: "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, says the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die, but the third shall be left therein.

- {v. 9}: And I will bring the third part through the fire of the Tribulation Period, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them as gold is tried [tested]; they shall call on My name, and 'I will hear them: 'I WILL' say, It is My people: and they shall say, The LORD is my GOD, {Zechariah 13:8-9}."

- Commentary . . . As for the two verses above, we have talked about them in other messages, but we feel that we should mention them again in this lesson also. And so as we continue, we wish to point out that . . .

- There are approximately 16 million Hebrew People on this earth at the present time. This means that over ten million shall perish at the hands of the Antichrist. Antichrist will desire to destroy the other third of MESSIAH's Covenant people; but the Bible fore-tells that GOD has a hiding place for them.

 - The Bible predicts that the Jews left, called "A REMNANT," will all believe in CHRIST. The one-third that are not killed, or about 5 to six million, will accept CHRIST as their MESSIAH. We note that in both the Old and New Testament prophecies It is stated . . .

- {v. 31} Scripture: "Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that 'I WILL' make a new Covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. . . .

- {v. 32}: Not according to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them, says the LORD.

- {v. 33}: But this the covenant that 'I WILL' make with the house of Israel.  After those days, says the LORD, 'I WILL' put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and WILL be their GOD, and they shall be my people.

- {v. 34}: And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know Me from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD; for 'I WILL' forgive their iniquity, and 'I WILL' remember their sins no more, {Jeremiah 31:31 - 34}." Read also {Hebrews 8:8-13 - & - 10: 16- 17}.

- The above {Vs. 31-34} paraphrased below in commentary form...

- {v. 31} Scripture: "Behold take notice, the days will come, says the Lord, when I will make a new Covenant promise - a new testiment and strict agreement and contract with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah [the Southern part of Israel]: Read {Luke 22:20 - 1- Corinthians 11:25} . . .

- {v. 32}: Not according to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which My covenant they broke, although I was an,  i.e., their husband to them, says the Lord.

- {v. 33}: But this shall be the new covenant 'I WILL' make with the house [Revived Nation] of Israel.  After those [end time Tribulation] days, says the Lord, 'I WILL' [then at that time] put my [new revised] law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts [minds, brain, intellect] and WILL be their GOD, and they shall be my people.

- {v. 34}: And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his [Jewish] brother, saying [and asking him: do you], know the Lord: for they shall all know Me [by recognizing, understanding, and by being acquainted with Me] from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord, for 'I WILL' forgive their iniquity [past sins], and 'I WILL' remember their sins no more, {Jeremiah 31:31- 34}." Read also {Hebrews 8:8-13 - & - 10:16-17}.

- Commentary . . . GOD is going to make a new Covenant with the Jewish people. Once they have gone through the time of Jacob's Trouble and two thirds of them die, then GOD at that future time is going to make this new Covenant promise with every one of them.

- Concerning {Jeremiah 31:31-34} . . . for the principal Old Testament passage on the New Covenant read {Isaiah 59:20-21; - Jeremiah 32:37-41; - Ezekiel 16:60-63; & 37:21-28}. It will not be completely like the old Mosaic Covenant because it will be unconditional and eternal {Jeremiah 32:32}

- Whereas, the Mosaic Covenant was not an everlasting covenant, which was fulfilled on CHRIST's Cross. This New Covenants provisions will include . . .

{ 1 }: a change of heart

{ 2 }: fellowship with GOD Himself

{ 3 }: perfect knowledge of the LORD-MESSIAH

{ 4 }: forgiveness of sins.

All of this will be fulfilled for Israel when MESSIAH returns. Read the text in Romans below! MESSIAH will restore Israel when He brings them into the blessings of the New Covenant in His Millennial Kingdom. Read also {Ezekiel 11:19-20 &  Jeremiah 31: 31}.

- The day is coming when they [the Jews] Shall all know Me, {V. 34 above}, so says the Old Testament. But, didn't the apostle Paul say the same thing hundreds of years later in the N.T. when he stated . . .

- {v. 26} Scripture: "And so ALL ISRAEL shall be saved, as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the DELIVERER, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob [Israel] When all Jews will be saved at the beginning of the Millennial Reign of MESSIAH].

- {v. 27 }: For this is My Covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins, { Romans 11:26-27 }?

- Commentary . . . Notice again that all Israel shall be saved! Talk about revival! Praise GOD, this will be one of the greatest revivals the world has ever seen.  At Pentecost 3,000 Hebrew men were saved and ritually baptised. Likely that many woman and children were also saved and baptised in the same way in that Hebrew ritual.

- All WATER baptisms under the Mosaic Law were ritualistic, and yet were to be administered under the old Mosaic law. The trouble was that the Pharisees added to the law themselves, rituals that were not intended to be established according to GOD's Holy Word. And yes, a great deal of Pharisaism is going on in modern congregations today, and most of it is inherited from Romanism falsely applied.

- These baptisms were actually performed ritualistically for a cleansing of the people and of things that were washed or dipped in water. Thank GOD, we are not under such ordinances during this Grace Dispensation today. Naturally people perform these acts today because they cannot get themselves away from Rome's old false doctrines.

- The water baptism saved no one. But, the Old Testament ritualistic ordinances which naturally included the same O.T. ritual water baptisms that was still being practiced as an established principle, throughout the transition Period of most of the forty year book of Acts Dispensation.

- The Bible really says very little about women and children. Long before Pentecost, the prophet Jonah preached and the whole city of Nineveh, estimated to be 600,000 Gentile heathen people, turned to the prophet Jonah's GOD. We do not know if any rituals were performed by or on them or not!

- But when all Israel is saved, what joy! Hear what the prophet said would take place in the beginning of that future Millennial Day!

- {v. 11} Scripture: "Let the wilderness and the cities therefore lift up their voice, the villages that 'Kedar does inhabit' ... Let the inhabitants of THE ROCK [Jews in Petra] sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

- {v. 12}: Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare His praise in the coastlands, [other countries and the islands] {Isaiah 42:11-12}.  This doesn't only apply to the Jews in Petra, but also to the Hebrew nation as a whole throughout MESSIAH's Millennial Reign]

- Commentary . . . Notice Kedar mentioned in {verse 11} above. One can see that the verse refers somewhat to some of the descendants of Kedar, who was a son of Ishmael {Genesis 25:13}. And of whom a few of his later descendants are likely to still be living in the future millennial age.

- In the past, the Kedarites [of Arab descent] roamed the desert in the eastern part of the Sinai Peninsula.  Many of the Arabs have received CHRIST during this Grace Age, and no doubt, many more will become believers during the Tribulation Period.

- The above verses speak concerning: "the inhabitants of "the rock [or "Sela" in the land of old Edom] "sing, and give GOD the glory?" Notice the context..., for here is JESUS CHRIST, The returning MESSIAH, fighting in the battle of "That great Day of GOD ALMIGHTY," which is usually applied to the Armageddon period.

- {v. 13}Scripture: "The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war; He shall cry, yes, roar.  He shall prevail against His enemies. The LORD says . . .

- {v. 14}: I have long time holden My peace; I have been still, and restrained Myself.  Now will I cry like a travailing woman; 'I WILL' destroy and devour at once, {Isaiah 42:13 - 14}.

b-  The above two verses paraphrased below in commentary form . . .

- {13}: "The LORD [MESSIAH 'WILL'] go forth as a mighty man; He will rouse His zealous indignation and vengeance like a great superior warrior; He 'WILL' cry, yes, He WILL shout aloud, He WILL do mightily like a great man of war] and prevail against all His enemies.

- {14}: [ Thus says the LORD ] I have [for a] long time held My peace. I have been still and restrained Myself.  Now 'I WILL' cry like a woman in travail [i.e., bearing a newborn child and in pain].  'I WILL' destroy and devour [My enemies all at one time].

- Commentary ... The complete fulfillment of the verses will take place at Armageddon and immediately before the Millennium commences. At the close of The Tribulation, or "the time of Jacob's trouble which refers to the same period," the Jews will be hiding in Petra, or Sela.

- While the fear of Antichrist, at the end of Jacob's trouble is a future event, it will be when the returning MESSIAH reveals Himself to the Israeli Remnant. The prophet predicts that will be when the Jews are back in their own land, which really began very rapidly back during the nineteen forties after World War Two!

- {v. 24} Scripture: "For 'I WILL' take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and WILL bring you into your own land.

- {v. 25}: Then IWILL sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean from all your filthiness and from all your idols, 'I WILL' cleans you.

- {v. 26}: A new heart also 'I WILL' give you, and a new spirit 'I WILL' put within you: and 'I WILL' take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and 'I WILL' give you a heart of flesh.

- (v. 27}: And 'I WILL' put My SPIRIT within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments [i.e., ordinances] and do them.

- (v. 28}: And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers and you shall be My people, and 'I WILL' be your GOD,  {Ezekiel 36:24-28}."

- The above {v. 24-28}: paraphrased below in commentary form:

- {24}: [take notice]. For 'I WILL' take you from among the heathen [Gentile nations], and gather you out of all countries, [where they had been wondering for the last two thousand years. This return of the Jews to Israel began a short time before World War One and, more so, during World War Two. MESSIAH states that He]: 'WILL bring them back into their own land. [Notice that during that coming new Millennium as the LORD had stated millennia ago the Bible says . . .

- {25}: Then [in that future Dispensation]  I [MESSIAH] WILL sprinkle clean water upon you [the saved Israelite Remnant' and 'WILL' purify His Hebrew Remnant spiritually] and you shall be clean from all your filthiness and from all your idols [that you have worshiped in your past instead of worshiping ME, thus] 'I WILL' cleans you, and your whole nation.

- {26}: A new heart [mind, brain and intellect] also 'I WILL' give you, and a new spirit 'I WILL' put within you, and I WILL take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and 'I WILL' give you a [new knowledgable intellect, and a new mind, and/or a new] heart of flesh.

- {27}: And I [the LORD your KING] WILL put My [HOLY] SPIRIT within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments [i.e., new millennial commandments and ordinces], and [you the holy Remnant of Israelis shall obey and] do them [and obey MESSIAH willingly in a loving manner].

- {28}: And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers [from the river Euphrates in Iraq on westward to the Nile River] and you shall be My people, and I WILL [through-out all eternity] be your GOD, {Ezekiel 36:24-28}."

- Commentary . . . According to this, all of the land east of the Nile River in Egypt belongs to Israel. This will include the present "Capital City of Cairo Egypt" since it is east of the Nile River. And, we believe that Israel will also receive the old land of Goshen that they dwelt in when they were placed there by Jacob's son Joseph in the past.

- This was where the Jews were later held in bondage by the Egyptians, and Goshen is also east of the Nile. As to the cleansing of the Hebrew people, that again will take place when "Israel is to be ANOINTED" ,  ., i.e., "the anointing of the Jews that will be entering into MESSIAH's Millennial reign." Remember during that reign the Israelis will become a nation of priests. Read {Exodus 40:15  &  Isaiah 61:6}.

- All Jewish priests in the past, or even GOD's called out ministers of the present Dispensation were and are anointed into a certain office. Plus, all of the LORD's Ambassadors were and are anointed by GOD into the place of witnessing, and as Ambassadors of CHRIST until the resurrection of the LORD's BODY. Read the following verses concerning the commission for the BODY OF CHRIST TODAY as follows . . .

- {v. 14} "For the love of CHRIST constrains us because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

- (v. 15}: And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but to Him which died for them, and rose again.

- {v. 16}: Therefore, henceforth know we no man after the flesh.  Yes, though we have known CHRIST after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

- {v. 17}: Therefore if any man be in CHRIST, he is a new creature.  Old things are passed away.  Behold, all things are become new.

- { v. 18 }: And all things are of GOD, who has reconciled us to Himself by JESUS CHRIST, and has given to us the Ministry of Reconciliation.

- {v. 19}: To wit, that GOD was in CHRIST, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

- {v. 20}: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, though GOD did beseech you by us: we pray you in CHRIST's stead, be you reconciled to GOD.

- {V. 21}: For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of GOD IN HIM, {2- Corinthians 5:14-21}."

- The above {vs. 14-21} referring to Christians today and paraphrased below in commentary form . . .

- {v 14} For the love of CHRIST constrains us because we [Therefore are of the opinion and conviction] that if  One [Saviour] died for all [People], then all [of the FATHER's converted children are the BODY OF CHRIST and] has also died [with CHRIST] Read Romans 6:1-10, which explains the truth of the matter!

"For the love of CHRIST constrains us," CHRIST's love for us [and possibly it may also mean that our love for CHRIST ] controls us; i.e., keeps us within bounds, not unwillingly, but because we thus judge [i.e., are convinced]. The words: "then we [past tense] were all dead" Christians are regarded by GOD Himself as having died in CHRIST so that they may live to please Him henceforth", read {Romans 6:8}.

- {v 15 }: And CHRIST died for all, so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to, and for, the LORD WHO died and was raised again for their sake. . . . "CHRIST's death was, in part, for the purpose of bringing His [ 'Disciples ] followers' into the experience of unselfish living for others."

- {v 16 }: Consequently, from now on we estimate and regard no one from a human point of view even though we once did estimate CHRIST from a human viewpoint and as a mere man, yet now  we have such knowledge of Him that we know Him no longer  in terms of a normal man of the flesh but as GOD in His Deity!  Before his conversion, the Apostle Paul himself regarded CHRIST as merely another man.

- {17}: Therefore, if any person is in CHRIST, he is a new creation [a new born again Christian altogether] the old heathen has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! To put this differently, before Christians were reborn into the family of GOD they were all nothing other than hedonistic Gentiles!

A new creature, literally a new creation or a new beginning in a new born again life. For a just saved Christian, Old things have passed away [aorist tense indicating the decisive change salvation brings]. Behold all things are become new. Literally, the new has come into existence.  The Grace of GOD not only justifies but also makes "a new creation" which results in a changed style of life, read {v. 15 } above again."

- {18}: But all things are from God, whom through the Lord Jesus Christ, has reconciled us to Himself  [received us into favor, brought us into harmony with Himself] and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation [that by word and deed we might aim to bring others into harmony with Him].

Reconciliation involves a changed relationship because our trespasses have been imputed to CHRIST (v. 19 ). We are now to announce to others this Bible message of GOD's Grace.

- {19}: To wit [The meaning of the word "TO-WIT" speaks concerning the keen perception of a certain something or other. Here it refers to the fact that it was God in Christ", reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting us and holding against Christians their past trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us Saints the message of reconciliation [which refers to our restoration to His favor].  Again, "TO-WIT, here also means that, Paul thus restates {v. 18 } above that we should read again."

- {20}: "So we are Christ's ambassadors, God is making His appeal, as it were, through us. We [as Christ's personal disciples and representatives who beg you in Christ's stead, to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and from henceforth you must be reconciled to God your Heavenly Father."

In Christ's stead, and on His behalf and in His place . . . we pray that you will be reconciled to God eternally.

- {21}: "For our sake He virtually to be sin [for us, He the Lord Jesus] who knew no sin, gave His own life so that in and through the Lord's own crucifixion on His Cross  we might become the righteousness of God.  Thus, what we personally ought to be, is approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Christ by His goodness and through His grace.

Here is the heart of the Gospel ... the sinless Savior has taken our sins that we might have God's righteousness, {2 - Corinthians 5:14- 21}.

- Commentary . . . As we have before stated, these above verses are the "Great Commission" for the body od Christ, for this grace dispensation until the Rapture.  On the other hand . . .

- The Great Commission in, Matthew 28:29-30, was Israel's commission only.  It concerned the previous kingdom teachings of the thousand year kingdom dispensation that would take place in the future. This was to be taught and understood by the Jews while Christ was still on the earth in His teaching ministry:

- Therefore, Israel's commission at that time looked forward to the future Millennial Kingdom dispensation that will follow the second coming of Messiah. Again, concerning Messiah's coming thousand year reign, read . . .

 "2- Samuel 7:12-16"; - "Isaiah 9:6-10"; - "Jeremiah 23:5-9"; - "Ezekiel 36:37-38"; - "Daniel 7:14-18"; "Micah 4:4-18"; - "Matthew 9:6-7, 35"; - "Matt. 10:5-8"; - "Matt. 15:24"; - "Matt. 19:28"; - "Matt. 25:34"; - "Luke 1:31- 33"; - "Acts 1:6-7"; - "Romans 15:8"; - "2- Timothy 4:1"; - "Revelation 11:15"; - & - "20:4-6 . . . etc. }. As the reader can easily see, all the way throughthe Bible we find the future millennial reign predicted! Only apostate ministers and teachers will teach otherwise.

- As to Israel's priesthood during the Millennial Reign, it should be recognized that a hundred and 44 thousand Hebrew ministers will be called to minister throughout the Earth at the beginning of the Tribulation Period until the seven years of it is completed. {Revelation 7:2-8}. Read also {Revelation 14:1}.

- Scripture: "And you shall anoint them as you did anoint their father, that they may minister unto Me in the priest's office for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations. {Exodus 40:15}."

- The above {v. 15} paraphrased below in commentary form . . .

- Scripture: "And you shall anoint them [anoint all the men of the Israeli nation as Priests], as you did anoint their father [Aaron was the high Priest of the Israeli priesthood], that they: [all the priests of Israel] may minister unto Me [God] in the priest's office for their anointing shall surely be to an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations {Exodus 40: 15}." [And, also during the Millennial Kingdom of Messiah]

- {v. 4} Scripture: "And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the wastes cities, the desolation of many generations.

- {v. 5 }: "And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

- {v. 6 }: "But you shall be named the Priest's of the Lord, men shall call you the Ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles', and in their glory shall you boast yourselves.

- {v. 7 }: For your shame you shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them, {Isaiah 61: 4-7}."

- The above {v. 4-7} paraphrased below in commentary form. . .

- {4} Scripture: "And they [the returning Jewish people after they have returned back to their land and have re-established it again as a new nation] shall build the old wastes [places such as old Jerusalem - and the cities of Judah which for some two thousand years had layed in ruins, but now], they shall raise up [and rebuild] the former desolation's, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolation of many generations.

- {5}: "And strangers [people of other nations] shall stand ready and shall wait on you Israelis of the new nation as your servants.] Read {Isaiah 14:1-2; - & - 60:10}.

- { 6 }: "But you men in your entire nation, you shall be named the Priests of the Lord and people shall call you the Ministers of our God.  You shall eat the riches of the [heathen] Gentiles, and in their glory [or splendor that had once belonged to the Hebrew Gentile captors], you [Israelis in your entirety] shall boast yourselves [i.e., the Jews shall boast happily and loudly by receiving the glory that the Gentiles had claimed before-hand for themselves].

- {7}: For your [former] shame you shall have double [a twofold recompense, instead of dishonour and reproach] and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion, therefore in [the Jews] land, they [the Jews] shall possess [the] double [of what they had forfeited in their past, and] everlasting joy shall be unto them, {Isaiah 61:4-7}."

- Commentary . . . The above verses gives the description of conditions in Messiah's Millennial Kingdom. In {v. 6} above, the words "But you" is as contrasted with the "strangers." The Hebrews lands and homes will be taken care of by foreigners.

- The Jewish exclusive business will be to the service: "of Messiah the Lord" as "His priests." Read also {Exodus ,19:6}, which remains yet to be fulfilled, and it is a must concerning this study to read that which is applied to spiritual Israel in the verses below.

{Isaiah 66:21 - 1- Peter 2:5, 9-10, Revelation 1:6 & 5:10  As to Israel's people as Ministers read {Ezekiel 44:11}. "And to eat ... riches of . . . the Gentiles", read {Isaiah 60:5-11}.

- The word 'double" in {v. 7 } instead of "your" their past share, means that the new kingdom nation of Israel shall have not merely as much, but "double" as much reward at that time {Isaiah 40:2 & Zechariah 9:12} notice the third clause in {v. 7 }.  And also the word "confusion, rather, humiliation."

- The word "rejoice" means that they shall celebrate with jubilation their portion. This takes place in their land marking the reference to literal Israel, and not to the present, Body of Christ, at large. The words, everlasting joy, refers also back to {Isaiah 35:10}.

- The word, double, in {v. 7} can also refer to the fact that the new revised nation will have double honor because of the shame that was heaped upon God's Jewish people in the past by the gentiles.  Today, about two out of every five Jews on earth live in Israel.  They have been returning back from the world's nations every year. We are at this very time living in that period just prior to God's new covenant with the nation of Israel.

- But first of all, the Body of Christ, is going to be Raptured up into the paradise of Heaven, our future home, and if you are born again like the other children of God, we the body of Christ, as one body, are going to soon be in Heaven when Messiah begins this new Covenant with the nation of Israel.'  "All future tense."

- When will this happen? {Isaiah 66:1-9} predicts it will happen "after" the Tribulation Temple has been built, which God will abhor. Note particularly {Vs. 7 and 8}.

- {v. 7} Scripture: "Before she travailed, she brought forth, before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child."

- {v. 8} Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day,  or shall a nation be born at once?  For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children {66: 7-8}.

- There has been all types of interpretations concerning the above text, the above verses we believe have double meanings, She, Israel, while living in a troublesome area brought forth the future Messiah, naturally in the distant past.

- This was Before her Temple and nation was finally destroyed by the Romans which brought terrible pain to the nation. And of course, a worse pain came upon the nation when she had become responsible for the crucifixion of her own Messiah that she had rejected.

- Before Israel became a new nation that was reborn in 1948, the same Man-child delivered to her the new reinstated nation of present Israel that she dwells in at the present time. And thus, this was before her earth pains that have brought upon Israel several wars since 1948. But this is only the beginning of her pain.

- The tribulation pain of the past will seem small compared to the pain during the seven years of the future tribulation she will have to go through at the coming years of horrible trouble that will overtake her.

- In {V. 8) above, we have talked about several times. The verse begins with amazement because of the fact such a prophecy came to pass in 1948, when Israel came into being as a sovereign nation in "one day".

- Who in our present time expected such a thing to happen since Israel has not been a nation for the last 1900 years and many people would have sworn it was all over for that ancient nation. And now, she was indeed a new nation right in front of our eyes and was reborn all at once.

- Therefore, as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. This prophecy also points to the Millennial reign of Messiah when all Israel's pain will disappear for ever. We will talk again about these above verses later on in our message.

- Concerning the prophecies in connection with the Tribulation Temple which is future and has not yet been built! Note the rebuilt Temple in verse one through six below!

- {v. 1} Scripture: "Thus says the Lord, the heaven is My throne, and the Earth is My footstool, where is the house that you build for Me? And where is the place of My rest?"

- {v. 2}: For all those things has My hand made, and all those things have been, says the Lord, but to this man 'I WILL' look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word.

- {v. 3}: He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man, he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck, he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood, he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.

- {v. 4}: I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer, when I spoke, they did not hear, but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

- { V. 5 }: Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at His Word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

- {v. 6}: A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the Lord that renders recompense to His enemies. {Isaiah 66:1-6}.

- The above {vs. 1-6} paraphrased below in commentary form.

- {1}: "Therefore this is what the Lord says: Heaven is My throne, and the Earth is My footstool. What kind of house [temple] will you, Israeli, build during the Tribulation Period ] in Jerusalem for Me? And what kind of house [or Temple is there that] can be My resting-place? . Read {Acts 17:24}.

- {2}: For all these things My [own] hand have made, and so all these things have come into being [by and for Me], says the Lord. But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: "he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My Word and reveres My commands." Read { John 4:24 }.

- {3}:  When the following takes place in the future Tribulation Period by the priests, they will be looked on by Messiah as, the acts of the hypocrite's worship, and will be as abominable to God as if they were offered to idols.  He who kills an ox,  at that future time, will be as guilty as if he slew and sacrificed a man.  He who sacrifices a lamb or a kid, as if he broke a dog's neck and sacrificed him, he who offers a, cereal offering, as if he offered swine's blood, he who burns incense [to God is ], as if he blessed an idol. [Such people] have chosen their own ways, and they will delight in their abominations [their pitiful and corrupted sins] .

- {4}: So I also will choose their delusions and mocking, and their calamities and afflictions, and I will bring their fears upon themselves, because when I called out to them, no one answered; when I spoke to them, they did not listen or obey. but they did what was evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not like at all.

- {5}: "Hear the Word of the LORD, you [the saved remnant of Israel who have gone through the Tribulation Period that tremble at His [wonderful] Word, your brethren [who are unsaved - that is, those wicked Jew's who have hated you and cast you out for [the Lord's] name's sake, [have] said, Let the Lord be glorified with divine glory and He shall appear to you who will become the Messiah's followers at His second coming, when He returns down from Heaven, and when He does appear on the Mount of Olives, and it will be to your joy [when this occurs ... the wicked] shall be ashamed [of themselves].  Read {Acts 1:9-11 &  Zechariah 14:4}.

- { 6 }:  When the Messiah returns they will say, hark listen to that uproar from the city [of Jerusalem]! It is a voice coming from the Temple, it's the voice from the Lord Messiah Himself, rendering recompense [judgement] to all His enemies, {Isaiah 66:1-6}".

- Commentary . . . To show that this above text is speaking of that which concerns Israel's future, and above all, it concerns the priests during the Great Tribulation who still desire to go by the old Mosaic order of their past Old Testament Law's.

- The priests will take it for granted that this passage has taken place in the past tense. Therefore, they will still live accordingly and lead the Israelis in the way of the past instead of going by what God has outlined for them to do future-wise!

- On the other hand, the truth was never in the history of the world or had such a thing taken place before, but the Lord keeps His Word.  As is definitely foretold here and in {Ezekiel 37:21-22 & 38:10-11} and we again mention, Israel, May 14-1948, became a recognized nation, and actually was, reborn in a single day, as was foretold by the prophet, {Isaiah 66:8}.

- After being away from their homeland for approximately two thousand years, the Jews were promised a national home-land in the Middle East, first by the Balfour Declaration in November, 1917.

- In 1922, the League of Nations, gave Great Britain the mandate over Palestine. Thus, on May 14, 1948, Great Britain withdrew her mandate, and immediately Israel was declared a sovereign state in answer to the prophecy that was fulfilled in one day, and her growth and importance among nations became astonishing.

- The above was the prophet Isaiah's final prophecy which begins with the assertive, "thus says the LORD [Yahweh]." The passage points to the magnitude and immensity of God, who is greater than the Heavens themselves.

- He is the God who does not really need a temple. The celestial Heaven is His throne, and the Earth is His footstool. This passage makes it clear that there is no house or place that man can build that shall contain or confine God. While there will be a temple during part of the Tribulation Period, it will be a temple primarily of the antichrist and will be destroyed by the end of the Tribulation.

- Even Solomon's Temple, in which the glory of the Lord dwelt as a representation of His presence with Israel, can only be referred to as the dwelling place of God in a symbolic sense, even though it did take place in the distant past, when God, as the Shekinah-glory, was personally present with His people.

- While there will be a temple during the millennial earthly kingdom dispensation, there is no need of a temple in eternity. The Apostle John catches the same vision in the apocalypse when he says, "And I saw no temple therein, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it, {Revelation 21:22}. We see this is referring to the time that will be at hand on the new Earth to come after the renovation of the present Earth and leading on into eternity!

- While men may build a structure to honor God, he can in no way build anything that will accommodate the Lord in all His majesty. Rather than dwelling in a temple made with human hands, God's desire is to dwell in men who are of a poor and contrite spirit.  These are they in whom He delights according to {Isaiah 57:15}.

- Thus, Isaiah foresees as the New Testament doctrine explains, that which teaches of the indwelling of God the HHoly Spirit, in the temples of Christian bodies {1- Corinthians 6:19}.

- In contrast to this reality of true spiritual life, G0d makes it clear that He no longer delights in the abominations of Israel's empty rituals and animal sacrifices. Merely going through the outward form of ritual religion is nothing more than a series of delusions. Instead of answering the call of God to personal repentance and faith, the Israelis chose evil through the leadership of their carnal apostate priests.

- In contrast to the judgment of the unbelievers, God promised a marvelous deliverance to the future Hebrew repentant, Remnant of Jews that "tremble at His Word."  These are those Jews who were hated by the unsaved and were cast out for the Lord's name sake, as referred to in {v. 5} above.

- Where is the place that the Jewish remnant will be living whrn the accept Christ as their Messiah and King during the last half og the Tribubulation period?

Be sure and read part 2 of this message concerning the ancient land of Edom and the city named Petra.
